In upstate New York, April through October are traditionally the busiest times of the year for weddings.  If you’ve investigated venue options during those months you know what we mean.  Comparatively speaking, November through February are less common months to tie the knot.

That said, you can plan a very nice fall or winter wedding during those months and find that you have a lot more options for service providers and in some cases save money over weddings booked in the peak summer season (although our wedding planner friends tell us this may not be the case if you’re planning something around one of the major holidays or Valentine’s Day).
